Paper hearts, real feelings

"She couldn't stand him, but that didn't matter. She could fight him, curse him, and push him away-but she was already tangled in his web. He wasn't interested in gentle love or sweet whispers; he wanted her broken, trembling beneath him, desperate for the very thing she swore she'd never need. He didn't give a damn about her walls. Every time she built one, he tore it down, piece by piece. Because he wasn't just a man; he was the obsession that would consume her until there was nothing left but him. He'd make her beg, make her crave, and when he finally had her-helpless, willing, torn apart-he'd make sure she knew one thing: She was never going to escape him."
